“ My husband and I had some early starts this week and decided to have 7 am breakfast at the Waffle House in Fuquay Varina. I had the country ham its not on the menu, you got to ask for it with toast, eggs and grits. My husband had hash browns with all the toppings, a side of loose scramble and bacon. Two coffees and two orange juices. Good diner breakfast with a very pleasant server. ”

“ Came July 3,2024! ABSOLUTELY THE BEST ran Waffle House in the state! We had a waitress in training but were also greeted by her trainer. Every one stayed busy constantly working or cleaning. The cooks were GREAT, even the other waitress walked past and saw that I needed coffee and poured me some fresh. These co workers are completely in sink and it showed. Made the whole experience wonderful. So to ALL of the employees present on July 3, 2024 at 11 30a.m. yall are THE DREAM TEAM!! ”

Be aware though, the menu is super small, only traditional breakfast choices eggs, hash browns, breakfast meats, grits, and of course, waffles and traditional dinner items burgers, melts, steaks. Also, the venue is small. You often see people waiting for an open table, the largest of which is a 4top, so larger groups will have to wait and split. There is an insider vibe to ordering here. When you hear one person order hash browns scattered, smothered, covered and diced and another order triple hash all the way it can be a little intimidating on your first visit. But its an experience you will enjoy. The friendly staff makes it feel much more like family and much less cultlike. But it is. And I love it ”

“ You dont go to Waffle House for the atmosphere but for friendly people and food cooked to your liking and with a reasonable price attached. I had basic eggs over and hash browns. Eggs were done perfectly, which I dont necessarily get at twice the price and hash browns were pleasurable to eat. Dont pass up a chance to eat here. ”
